Contributing to the creation and strengthening of bonds of companionship provided by the pure pleasure of contemplating nature, the Camping Park of Ortiga - Mação offers you all the conditions, not only to rest, but also to organize and develop group activities and active tourism in direct contact with the natural environment.
Overlooking the Ortiga Dam reservoir, it is located about 75 minutes from Lisbon, 2 hours from Oporto, and about 75 minutes from neighbouring Spain, travelled by motorway (A23-NÓ Ortiga/Mação) or main routes (IC8-NÓ Proença-a-Nova/Mação) and railways (Beira Baixa Line - Belver Dam).
The Ortiga Camping Park is classified with three stars and has several facilities for its users, from hot water, living room, area for caravans and tents, telephone, amphitheatre, roasters, parking, Boat ramp and a series of attributes that we are sure will be of your best pleasure and that will fully serve for a private stay, or for the development of adventure activities, among which cruises on the Tagus and adventure sports such as rappelling, climbing in our Municipal Climbing School, canoeing, paragliding or mountain biking, among others.
We can offer collaboration in its organization and special prices for groups, young and less young, as well as a reduced annual user fee.
It is located near the River Beach of Ortiga.
Here ends the Grande Rota do Tejo - Ortiga Variant (GR12.3) and is the crossing point of the Small Pedestrian Route PR4-MAC-ROTA DA ORTIGA SUL.
