ROTAS DE MAÇÃO - VILLAGES PROJECT
Ribeira de Boas Eiras, is a village that belonged to the old parish of Penhascoso (now UFMPA), located in the extreme northwest of the municipality of Mação.
It borders the parish of Mouriscas (Abrantes).
Origin of the name: The whole valley was fertile, due to the presence of the river (Coadouro), and there were many structures for the collection of pastures and treatment of cereals (Eiras).
