Built on a plateau over the Ribeira de Pracana, the Ladeira dos Envendos Bridge was built between the 1st century AC and 1st century BC, having integrated the old road system that would connect the villages of Idanha and Ródão. This possibility seems to be reinforced by the existence of a section of about six metres of the primitive Roman road that would pass next to the bridge and along the river itself.
The bridge has an inclined deck with six arches of different dimensions, whose staves were arranged radiantly. The structure also has four upstream carvings, on which four canyons are observed for the drainage of water from the floods. In addition to these elements, it is also possible to observe the lateral guards.
