📍 Extending for approximately 500 metres, this geosite provides an outstanding record of the region's geological history. Visitors can observe alternating layers of metagreywackes and schists, intensely folded and standing almost vertically, creating a remarkable geological landscape. 🔬⛰️
👀 These visible deformations are evidence of powerful tectonic movements that affected the region hundreds of millions of years ago, dramatically altering the original arrangement of the rock layers. 🌍⏳
🪨 Over these older formations, a younger sequence of conglomerates, arkosic metarenites, and quartzites was deposited. These layers display only a gentle dip towards the south, creating a striking contrast with the older rock succession. 📚🔍
