🌿 Located south of the picturesque village of Queixoperra, at the Cuco Viewpoint, the VILLAGE GATE (PR5 Mac | Queixoperra Route) welcomes all those who arrive in goodwill.
🚪 Inspired by the original design of the traditional doors and entrances of the village houses, this structure was created to symbolize the hospitality and identity of the community. By passing through it, visitors are immediately greeted by the sight of the village itself, in a symbolic gesture that marks their arrival in Queixoperra and invites them to discover its history, its people, and its landscapes.
🛠️ Built and installed by the members of the Queixoperra Recreational and Cultural Centre (CRC Queixoperra), with the support of the local community, the Village Gate stands as an example of the unity, commitment, and dedication that characterize this village.
🌍📍 For Geocaching enthusiasts, the route also includes several geocaches listed on the @geocaching platform, including GCA6VWN | Cuco Viewpoint, providing explorers with an even more rewarding experience.
