The River Beach of Carvoeiro is located in the middle of Carvoeiro, about 25 minutes from Mação.
Surrounded by tall green pines trees, far from any source of pollution, this beach has an extensive water mirror, good access, children's pool, night-time lighting, picnic area, barbecue facilities and an amphibious chair.
The quality and beauty of its infrastructures have earned Carvoeiro Beach the Blue Flag award (17 years), the distinction as an Accessible Beach and the gold medal from Quercus.
