GEOCACHING POINT

On the slopes of the main road, which crosses the southern part of the village of Ortiga, it is possible to observe metassediments composed of centimetric alternations of metagrave and schist layers, strongly folded and with associated schist.
In this geositium there are tight bends with metric dimension, inclined towards the southwest.
Its genesis is related to the transport of rocky materials composed of metagraves and mycastists of a much older age, which immediately emerge to the southwest of this area, which are superimposed on the previous metassediments.
This displacement, in general, to the northeast generates drag of the constituent materials of the strata, originating the folds with the described geometry, besides the alignment of minerals.
