In this geositium, along 500m, alternating layers of metagraves and shales can be observed, folded and arranged almost vertically, making it a very interesting place from a geological point of view.
A sequence of layers of conglomerates, arcosic metarenites and quartzite, all slightly inclined towards the south quadrant, have been deposited on these layers.
This sequential organization indicates that there is an angular disagreement between the two sequences. Analysis of the strata of the oldest stratified succession suggests that their deposition took place on abyssal marine plain, while sedimentation of the later sequence is associated with an environment located in the transition between the continental and the coastal marine.
